Low-Lift Safety Relief Valve
This structure means the disc cannot be fully lifted, which is unlike the full lifts safety relief valve. In low lift valves, the discharge area is determined by the disc lifting. Because the disc is lifted only a small amount, fluid pressure loss can be reduced. It also prevents damage to equipment due to rapid pressure rising, which is very popular in liquid medium conditions.
