Pilot Operated Safety Valve
This type of safety relief valve uses the flowing medium itself, through a pilot valve, to apply a closing force to the safety valve disc. As the operating pressure increases, the net seat force increases and tends to make the sealing better. This pilot operated safety valve will eliminate the effects of back pressure in discharge system. Suitable for large diameter, high opening pressure, high sealing requirements and high back pressure conditions. It can also be used for gas or compressible fluids.
