On October 29, 2014, Wujiang Dongwu Machinery Co., Ltd. organized and held a design evaluation meeting of K-2/K-3 (ACP1000) main steam safety valve jointly developed by Wujiang Dongwu Machinery Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Power Engineering Co. and China Zhongyuan Foreign Engineering Co. Participating experts and representatives listened to the K-2/K-3 (ACP1000) main steam safety valve development requirements, design program and its key technology report. After thorough discussion and study, the expert group unanimously agreed to pass the design evaluation of K-2/K-3 (ACP1000) main steam safety valve.

ACP1000 main steam safety valve is one of the key equipments in the main steam pipeline of ACP1000 nuclear power plant. The development is based on the K-2/K-3 project in Karachi, Pakistan. By carrying out the design, manufacture, inspection, testing, qualification, as well as documentation and management of the main steam safety valve, the final prototype will be able to meet the technical requirements of the K-2/K-3 (ACP1000) main steam safety valve.
