DWMC K3 project main steam safety valve successfully passes acceptance inspection

From January 6 to 8, 2020, experts and leaders from China Zhongyuan Foreign Engineering Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., and other relevant units convened at Wujiang Dongwu Machinery Co., Ltd. to hold the acceptance meeting for the main steam safety valves of the K3 project. During the meeting, DWMC provided a detailed report on the design, manufacturing process, inspection and testing procedures, and quality control aspects of the K3 project's main steam safety valves. The acceptance expert panel conducted thorough inspections and verifications of design documents, manufacturing process records, inspection and test reports, quality certification documents, personnel qualifications, delivery documentation, and the valves themselves. Following discussions and inquiries, the final acceptance conclusion determined that the 21 K3 project main steam safety valves met all design, manufacturing, and quality requirements and were ready for packaging and shipment.

Main steam safety valves are critical components in nuclear power plant main steam piping systems, demanding stringent design, manufacturing, and quality standards. The successful completion of this acceptance signifies that DWMC has elevated its capabilities in designing, manufacturing, testing, and quality control of 1000MW main steam safety valves to a new level.
